Painted BT Cabinets in EC1

[facebook_ilike]
As a part of the “EC1 is Special” campaign, artists and illustrators and people in the local communities have been invited to decorate BT cabinets in the area. The project is organised together with Australian based Urban Smart Projects. Have a look at their gallery for more painted cabinets. It is great to see some colour being added to these grey and ugly boxes. We have previously reported on a “Van Gogh inspired BT cabinet” in Borough, so maybe we’ll see more decorated BT cabinet and traffic signal boxes around London in the time to come.

The artists who have participated in the project include Teddy Baden, Rob Flowers, Micke Lindebergh, Sandra Howgate, Guido van Helten and Daniel Worth

Click on the photos for more details on the location and the artists.
